I really do enjoy this realism. I may just completely drop my old style and stick with this style from now on. As long as I have a reference I can draw some awesome stuff.
I really enjoy drawing snarling wolves in detail, I'm not sure why. I kind of like doing the mouth detail though so maybe that's part of it. XD
Anyway, finally back in the swing of things. I'm trying to teach myself how to draw with a mouse (this was drawn completely with a mouse X_x....) and so far it's going alright.
I may start taking commissions for realism like this. Unfortunately I can only draw like this if I have a reference and I can't do backgrounds, so they'll be relatively cheap. Probably the same as how much a regular commission would be. XD
So if anyone's interested in buying one of these, let me know. I have other commissions to finish up yet but I can take commission requests.

Sorry about the big, ugly watermark but I'm really proud of this and don't want it to be used :C

You paid excellent attention to detail on the anatomy and face. there are some slight flaws in the construction of the legs. the left (In perspective of viewer) Looks wide in comparison to the right. I would like to compliment the fur and shading done on this animals face but also would like to note a lack of variation in the fur "Pattern" The gray on its right cheek adds more tone variation and a greater contrast on the animals body. Wolves typically do not have one distinct color in their pelts. It is nearly always a combination of similar colors, some light touches of red, gray, or different shades of what you already have would make it look all the more real. You did a great job and are doing better with realism. Keep it up!

I really like this; there's so much attention to detail on this piece that it's astonishing. There's only a few things I would suggest fixing a little. For one, there is so much realism on the fur and you can tell you drew each individual stroke, however when you look at the nose and teeth, they just don't seem as if they have as much detail as the rest of it which kind of throws off the realism a bit.

Also the shading on her back right leg could be a little darker so it's easier to tell that it's a separate limb, as well you may want to darken the shading on the back left one as well because it almost looks as if that's her front leg instead of her back leg. The only reason I know it's her back is because I'm familiar with your character and which of her limbs is missing. The only other thing I'd suggest would be to lighten up the shading on her left eye. I understand that there's a shadow there but it almost seems too dark compared with the rest of the shading on the body especially because we can't see the object that is causing the shadow.

Over all I really like this piece and love seeing your improvement on each deviation! I'm also thinking about commissioning you for a realism piece once I save up!

I hope this helped!
