The Dogsby *The-FreakHound

I cannot begin to tell you guys how proud I am of this piece.
This was done completely with a mouse, 10-12 hours on Photoshop Elements.
I drew this picture for my mom ~ElfenLied333 for Christmas. I put a lot of my heart into this painting and I'm so glad it came out this good.
I had so many issues with this painting though. The greying on the faces of the three dogs in the picture was giving me one heck of a time. I had to redo the 2nd dog's colors 2 or 3 times before I was actually happy with the result. This is what came out in the end.
Watching these dogs transform was just incredible. I started with just the base color, smudged the edges, added the color, furred that, shaded and highlighted, then did the noses, eyes and ears. It was so much work but so worth it in the end.
I proudly say that I have really come around as an artist and I certainly hope to continue improving!
My goal for this picture is currently 50 favorites. Please help me achieve this goal! If you feature me, I'll feature you
